General Contracting: Morrick Construction is a traditional builder, not a broker of construction services. We generally perform 20-25% of the contract work with our own people including concrete, masonry and both rough and finish carpentry. We have worked hard in creating a staff of competent professionals and trades people who are motivated and take pride in producing a quality product. As a matter of record, 88% of our key people have been with the company 10 or more years with 56% of total employees here for 5 or more years.
Construction Management: Using state-of-the-art technology and a professional staff, we have developed a system of cost and quality controls against which other firms benchmark. We work with the owner from the pre-construction phase to occupancy as your liaison to architects, engineers, and governing entities; minimizing the owner’s risk and direct involvement.
Design/Build: This vehicle provides the client with the benefit of the architect’s creativity and the builder’s knowledge of system costs simultaneously. Using this model provides an integrated design and budget. This system eliminates the occurrence of a desired design which is not affordable to the client. Also, with the benefit of the contractor’s input during the design phase, the constructibility of the design can be enhanced to produce a shorter construction time frame.
