Morrick Construction has recently completed the new 9,000 SF East Addition at SFBH. It is a 2-phased project consisting of a new addition and adjacent interior renovations. The most challenging aspect of this project is the fast track of the schedule in order to accommodate the community’s need for the new Cardiac Cath Lab.
Other challenges have included the minimal staging area on the hospital campus as well as the project’s proximity to the Emergency Helicopter Pad (which Morrick completed in 2001) with its possible wind borne debris field. We must keep dumpsters covered, materials tied down and we must maintain strict coordination with hospital staff regarding incoming and outgoing flights
